Michael Halimi
Mr. Michael Halimi is CEO of Makor Capital. He has 19 years experience in the Capital Markets industry and was previously partner at Cantor Fitzgerald,where he was Global Head of Equities Sales. He worked at Cantor for 14 years, where he first established an interest rate derivative desk. In September 1999, he implemented the European Equity Platform of Cantor Fitzgerald. He then became a senior managing director in 2007.
Michael Halimi received his MBA in financial markets in June, 1992 from Paris Dauphine University.
Avi Bouhadana
Mr. Avi Bouhadana is the co-founder of Makor Group. He has 15 years experiences in the Capital Markets industry. He was previously partner at Cantor Fitzgerald where he was the Global Head of the Special Situations and Merger Arbitrage desk in London.
Prior to this he worked in Cantor Fitzgerald on the bonds desk.
He then became a senior managing director in 2007.
Avi Bouhadana graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1992.
Efraim Wolpert
After working at Ernst & Young for 5 years, in 2001 Efraim Wolpert joined Execution Limited, a startup London based institutional stock broking business as CFO. Execution grew into a $85m business employing 125 people in London, Connecticut and Hong Kong.
In March 2009 Efraim left the UK for Israel and worked as an outsourced CFO to Israeli based subsidiaries of international groups before joining the Makor Group in November 2010.Efraim is a Chartered Accountant and has a Business Finance Degree (First Class Honours) from the University of Cape Town.
Yankel Hassan
Yankel Hassan is Head of Equities Sales and Trading of Makor. Yankel has 15 years experience in the Capital Markets industry. Previously, he worked for ten years in the Sales Equity Desk and became co-manager of Cash Equity Arbitrage Desk at Cantor Fitzgerald.
Yankel received a BA in Financial Markets from Dauphine University in Paris.
Michael Benitah
Michael Benitah is head of FX & Fixed Income of Makor securities, he started in the industry in 1996 trading FX within several banks (Republic national Bank, Bank Safra and Bear Stearns) before joining Cantor Fitzgerald in 2008 to setup and manage the FX agency desk.
Michael have studied at ISG in Paris
