Ronen Cohen
Ronen Cohen has over 21 years of experience in the equity, options, and security industries as well as 18 years of experience in risk management. Previously, he worked as a sales trader
in the Israeli Stock Exchange and at the Foreign exchange desk. Today Ronen Cohen is the President of Oscar Gruss & Son Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Makor Partners Ltd.
Avi Avital
Managing Director
Mr. Avi Avital is a managing director at Oscar Gruss & Son. He has been working for the company from 2005 as a sales trader and from 2009 as head of trading. His focus is managing the Israeli branch operations and sales and business development.
Mr. Avital got his degree at Tel Aviv university Recanaty school of business.
Alexis Herzberg
Managing Director
Alexis Herzberg joined Oscar Gruss in August 2014 as head of Derivatives Markets. He has more than 16 years of experience in the Capital market Industry. Prior to Oscar Gruss, Alexis spent four years with Tullet Prebon USA as Equity Derivatives Sales.
Starting as an equity derivatives trader in 1998 for Credit Lyonnais, he managed various indexes and singles stock books across European markets. In 2004, he moved to NY as Head of Equity Derivatives Trading Americas for Credit Agricole CIB and successfully expanded their business operations.
Alexis hold an Advanced Master’s Degree in Financial Techniques from ESSEC Business School, Paris (1998) and also a Master Degree in Finance from Aix-Marseille University (1996).
Danielle Landau
CFO & Compliance Officer
Ms. Landau joined Oscar Gruss as the Controller in 2003. Prior to joining Oscar Gruss, Danielle Landau worked as a public accountant at Cornick, Garber, and Sandler, LLP, a public accounting firm. In 2010, Ms. Landau transferred from the Applicant’s Accounting Department to the Compliance Department. In 2014, Danielle transitioned to Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer. On a daily basis, her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the review of transactions, AML, and account documents to ensure compliance with rules and regulations set out by the SEC and FINRA. As FINOP, she maintains the financial books and records of the Company. Ms. Landau has over 18 years of experience in the combined fields of accounting and compliance. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Pace University in 1998.
